Arts and Culture

Denver art museums, galleries and performing arts venues run the gamut of tradition, avant garde and just plain…strange. Heavy hitters like the Denver Art Museum -- the largest art museum between Kansas and California -- draw major national exhibits as do smaller, but equally impressive venues like the Clyfford Still Museum. Smaller galleries in LoDo, RiNo and the Art District on Santa Fe feature world art from Latin America and Russia.

As for performing art, Denver has one of the largest performing arts centers in the country. The Denver Performing Arts Complex (DPAC) has 10 preforming arts spaces that span four blocks and 12 acres allowing aficionados to performance hop between ballet, orchestra, dance and Broadway productions.
