Diane and Dave Eichler, Decibel Blue Co-Founders.
Decibel Blue
Phoenix-based marketing and PR firm
Decibel Blue
has opened a Denver office in the Highlands.
Currently headed by Marketing Manager Lexie Runge, the Denver office will likely hire additional staffers by the end of 2013, says Creative Director and Co-Founder Dave Eichler.
"We finally took the plunge," says Eichler. "We had a couple of clients in Denver and there was a realization that we kind of are in Denver already. We're servicing people here."
Decibel Blue clients with a Colorado presence include
Cheba Hut
(now headquartered in Fort Collins),
NextCare
and the
Mountain West Credit Union Association
.
Originally founded in 2005, the company has 10 employees in Phoenix and expanded to Denver over the summer.
Eichler says his target is a Denver office with six to 12 employees. "We will be staffing it locally," he says. "We aren't relocating people from Phoenix."
Eichler worked in Hollywood before launching the company.
"Everything you hear is true," he says. "It's nasty. The only thing like it is Washington, D.C."
His experiences working in the entertainment industry led to his vision for Decibel Blue. "I wanted to create a place where people wanted to come to work," he says.
