Brandfolder launches paid plan to manage brand assets

Brandfolder
launched a paid plan for brand-asset management in early November.
The Five Points-based startup is targeting creative agencies and businesses of all sizes that need a good system to manage and share logos, product images, and other brand assets.
"Typically it's scattered all over the place," says Parks. "That's what we exist for -- to remove any friction and ambiguity and get it all in one place. It can be used as an online brand standards guide."
Following the free plan that was launched in July, Brandfolder's paid plan has gained some traction in less than a month. "We've seen some customer growth and good uptake on the product," says Brian Parks, the company's Co-Founder and CEO. "People primarily adopt the free plan and move to the paid plan.
The paid plan offers analytics and privacy settings for $99 annually of $10 a month.
Customers are from a wide range of industries, says Parks. "We've got software, we've got restaurants and we've got artists."
Parks calls alternatives "cumbersome and expensive."
Brandfolder raised startup funding in spring 2013, but will soon be looking for another investment round.
"We will be fundraising in 2014," says Parks.
