People talk at Dex Media event. Dex Media
On Wed. Oct. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m.,
Dex Media and
Confluence Denver are hosting a "Marketing Success Seminar" at the
Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale.
The event brings together representatives from Google and Bing along with social media gurus like
Joel Comm, who began building sites in 1995 before writing bestselling books, to talk with Denver’s small business community about marketing strategies in a connected world.
"We see that the needs of small businesses in Denver are very similar to small businesses in other markets. Many are trying to make sure they are finding and maintaining clients through digital marketing," says Dex Media's Alma Mazur. "They feel particularly challenged because they don't have the resources and expertise to do this well and run their business at the same time."
As a marketing services company Dex Media has hosted similar events in other cities throughout the U.S., including four events in 2016. "This is our first visit back to Denver in many years and we are excited to return to this market," Mazur says.
The seminar features four afternoon sessions and a panel discussion. Other than Comm, speakers will include Bing's Allen Klein, Google's Kevin Lao, radio host, entrepreneur and author Barry Moltz and Dex Media's Grant Freeman. They will discuss a series of strategies to help small business use their marketing dollars effectively, including search engine marketing (SEM) and leveraging live video and micro-moments to help businesses grow.
