The
Ballpark neighborhood will have a new eatery and entertainment venue when VIEWHOUSE opens in late February 2013.
The multi-level restaurant at 2015 Market St. will feature 360-degree panoramic views of Coors Field, the mountains and the Denver skyline from its 7,000-square-foot rooftop deck complete with a fireplace.
The project includes 6,500 square feet of restaurant space and a 7,000-square-foot grassy area for volleyball and bocce ball, says Brad Manske, managing partner of the VIEWHOUSE corporate team. Manske’s partner in the project is well-known nightclub operator and restaurateur Francois Safieddine.
The interior space, which will have a ping pong table and big-screen TVs, will meld modern with a rustic, industrial feel.
“We do plan on growing this as a brand,” Manske says. “We plan to have three or four, but we want to get this one open before we start on the others.”
Chef Jose Guerrero brings his culinary vision to the restaurant and plans to use organic, local products when possible. The menu includes interesting interpretations of classic bar fare, such as burgers, Caesar salad and Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches.
“We’re taking it from the farm to the table,” Manske says. “We’ve hooked up with local farmers and purveyors.”
VIEWHOUSE expects to hire up to 150 people, with the process starting after the first of the year.
