Well-known Denver makeup artist Michael Moore has sold
Simply Moore, the cosmetic and skin-care studio he founded 13 years ago.
Lone Tree-based
Centennial Brands, a network of companies offering healthy, natural lifestyle options, acquired Simply Moore. Moore will remain with the company as an advisor and creative consultant.
"I am very pleased to be partnering with Centennial Brands and helping in growing the company through franchising, creating new and innovative products and teaching customers the finer techniques of cosmetics and skin care," Moore says. "Simply Moore in its infancy was designed to help empower Colorado women on a daily basis. I couldn't be more thrilled that Centennial Brands is bringing my early visions of teaching women they will always be Simply Moore to an international audience."
Simply Moore earned an international reputation with The Makeup Lesson, a signature service that teaches clients how to streamline their routine and get the results they desire in 7 minutes or less. In 2005, Simply Moore added Simply Moore Real Makeup, a full line of custom-blended, mineral-based makeup. The range of cosmetics includes foundations, powders, lipsticks, glosses, eye shadows and blushes.
"We believe the Simply Moore cosmetics and skin-care retail stores will be a very attractive franchise opportunity," says Patric Adams, Chief Executive of Centennial Brands.
Brands under the Centennial Brands umbrella include 5280 Chocolates, Good Health Cocoa and NewGen Gluten Free Foods.
