The Buell Theater in Denver will be the site of the
"Clean Guys of Comedy" featuring live performances by Jamie Kennedy, Dave Coulier, Heather McDonald, Andy Hendrickson and Ralph Harris.
The one-night only show will be broadcast live to 660 movie theaters nationwide. The show marks the launch of a new comedy brand targeted towards audiences who enjoy adult, but clean stand-up comedy. It starts at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
"This is an opportunity to bring a clean version of adult comedy to a coast-to-coast audience and show that jokes don’t have to be 'dirty' to be funny," says Jim Janicek, Executive Producer and Partner of Clean Guys Entertainment LLC, the production company behind the broadcast and show. "It’s so rare to have a powerhouse group of famous comedians in one place, providing a great night of laughter without having to pay a fortune for tickets."
NCM/Fathom Events will be broadcasting the performance live to more than 660 movie theaters nationwide at 8:30 p.m. ET (tape delayed at 8 p.m. MT), and will present a special second showing on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. local time. The "Clean Guys of Comedy" will be presented by National CineMedia’s (NCM) Digital Broadcast Network. Tickets are available at participating theater box offices and
online.
Clean Guys Entertainment and NCM/Fathom Events have coordinated with the
Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media to bring this live event to Denver.
"The Colorado Office of Film and Television views Clean Guys as an innovative comedy creation that will serve the dual purpose of employing Colorado’s talented production workforce while promoting the city of Denver and state of Colorado to a broad audience across our nation," says Donald Zuckerman, Director of the office.
