Reverie Living has joined the retail mix in Denver’s LoHi neighborhhood.
Opened on Oct. 30 in the
Prospect on Central apartment building, the boutique retailer features contemporary home wares and personal accessories that are well-designed, functional and affordable.
“I wanted a store in an urban neighborhood in Denver,” says Owner Amy McClellan, who gave up a career in non-profit management to pursue her dream of opening the shop. “This was the space that was available and the neighborhood is really thriving.”
Products include jewelry, scarves, handbags, wallets, belts, greeting cards, baby gifts and a variety of home wares and accessories.
Reverie Living, which has 1,200 square feet of floor space, is located between Metropolis Coffee and Central Bistro and Bar on Central Street near the Highland Bridge.
“There are plenty of restaurants here, but there is not a lot of retail yet,” McClellan says. “There was an opportunity to bring something of value to the neighborhood and diversify the mix.”
McClellan, 48, and her husband Jeff Faunce returned to Denver in 2010 after living in Chicago and Cleveland for the last 20 years.
“This has always been in the back of my mind as something I wanted to do,” McClellan says.
Developed by Denver-based
Central Street Capital Inc., the pet-friendly Prospect on Central apartment building’s amenities include downtown views, balconies, a fitness center, recycling program, storage units and community courtyard with fire pit, built-in barbecue and complimentary WiFi.
