Within the next week, young professionals seeking a central location to rent an apartment will have another option to consider.
The Logan, which is located at 619 N. Logan St. in Denver’s Alamo Placita neighborhood, is just minutes away from downtown.
Rents for studio apartments start at $1,090 a month; one-bedroom units start at $1,395; and two-bedrooms start at $1,990.
“Our client made a bold move to have us design this project with small units,” says Cindy Harvey, principal at the downtown architecture firm
Kephart. “It's turned out to be a home run. Construction is nearing completion and the project is 30 percent leased at rental rates well over pro forma. This project has received lots of attention and is setting the bar for further development in this sub-market of Denver.”
Amenities in the 57-unit community include an underground parking garage, keyless unit entry to a controlled-access building, an outdoor courtyard and grill, a resident lounge, a bike repair and maintenance room and a Sudz dog wash.
The urban infill project is close to some of Denver’s most popular restaurants and bars -- everything from Lala’s to Little India to Don’s Club Tavern.
Sometimes referred to as the Governor’s Park neighborhood because of it’s proximity to the Governor’s Mansion at 400 E. Eighth Ave., Alamo Placita is named after the Alamo Placita Park north of Speer Boulvard. The neighborhood is bound by Pennsylvania on the west, Downing Street to the east, Sixth Avenue to the north and Speer Boulevard to the south.
