Ballpark

Ask any long-time Denver resident to name the catalyst behind eastern downtown development and they'll likely say "Coors Field." Since the public helped investors pay the $215 million to build a home for the Colorado Rockies, developers and business owners have invested in chic loft redevelopments and bars and restaurants in the Ballpark area. Even when the Rockies aren't doing well, the Colorado sunshine drives visitors to the Blake Street Tavern, fine dining restaurants like Trillium and the ever-popular Ballpark Market.
